I am on a non-touchbar MacBook Pro with OS 10.13.6. I had both and MX Master and MX Master 2S connected and working via Bluetooth. All of the sudden they both stopped working and would no longer connect (I don't think I had done any software update at that exact point in time?). They both still connect fine via the Unifying USB dongle, and I can successfully connect other Bluetooth devices to my laptop.
Same issue reported for the 2S version. Not hard to fix. Just a PITA to deal with it. Software side (Logitech Options) well designed. Senuti ipod. 2 particular advantages of the MX Master: Able to use on 3 different computers (setting button underneath mouse), and via Logitech Options, able to customize mouse for specific programs. Logitech MX Master 3 Advanced Wireless Mouse for Mac I have two desktop Mac setups, one at home and one at the Macworld office (ah, going to the office, those were the days). Both those setups. Hi Kjetil Geirbo The only difference between MX Master 3 and MX Master 3 for Mac is that the MX Master 3 for Mac doesn't come with a Unifying USB receiver in the box. Rest assured, the MX Master 3 for Mac is compatible to work with a Unifying USB receiver I have personally tested. Logitech Flow uses the local network to link computers and allow them to share a mouse and, if available, a keyboard. For computers behind routers or firewalls, Logitech Flow uses a Logitech cloud service to assist with peer discovery and requires an internet connection. For more information please refer to Logitech Flow’s support page.
Below is the screengrab of what happens when I try to connect. The mouse shows up in the Bluetooth device list (regardless of whether I have the mouse in pairing mode or not; in fact, if I put it into pairing mode then a second duplicate device shows up in the device list), and when I click connect it hangs on this screengrab saying it's trying to connect, but eventually fails and then just says the device is 'not connected'.
I've gone through all the existing posts I could google about this issue and none of those solutions helped, and none of those posts explicitly mention this exact issue.
This laptop only has two USB ports so I only consider the Unifying dongle a temporary and unsatisfying fix. Thanks.
